Libraries

Berkeley has two libraries, which are staffed by four degreed librarians who teach information literacy skills to the students. The West Family Resource Center contains the Rudolph Library, which serves grades Pre-K through 5 and has approximately 22,000 titles in its collection; the Jean Ann Cone Library serves Middle and Upper Division students and has over 26,000 titles (including e-books and print). Both libraries have online catalogs accessed via the web. Rudolph has 14 electronic databases, and Cone has 43 electronic databases. All databases are also accessible from home. Berkeley’s libraries belong to the Tampa Bay Library Consortium, a membership that enables us to participate in interlibrary loan providing our students with on-campus access to resources not possible otherwise.
Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
