Parents' Association
Becoming a Berkeley parent is something special; we share a common bond in wanting an exceptional education for our children. Parents' Association allows us to strengthen this bond with each other, with students, and with faculty and staff, elevating the experience of the whole family through a deeper connection with the entire Berkeley community.
Parents' Association offers multiple opportunities to volunteer and participate—accommodating even the busiest schedules. Parents across all divisions, from grades Pre-K through 12, get involved, not only to meet fellow parents and learn more about Berkeley, but also because of the friendships made, the fulfilling work deploying skills and talents to enhance the Berkeley experience, the reward in serving those in need off campus, and the fun of celebrating at Berkeley's big fundraiser, BUC BASH hosted by Parents' Club.

Parents’ Association, representing Berkeley’s entire parent community, holds a fundraiser every other year to support school-wide initiatives. BUC BASH is a fun and welcoming party for parents of all divisions, alumni, faculty, staff, and their guests.
The event brings together parents in all divisions, from those brand new to Berkeley to those whose children have been here for years or have even graduated. With support from businesses, individuals, and families, BUC BASH brings together the Berkeley community for festive engagement while sustaining the good work of Parents’ Association.
The accompanying BUC BASH Online Auction, which goes live one week prior to the event and closes at the BUC BASH event, enables parents, alumni, and other family members to participate and bid from home, work, or across the world.
Scholarship
To make a Berkeley education accessible to students for whom the opportunity is financially out of reach, Parents' Association established an endowed scholarship in 1997. The endowment provides one full and one partial scholarship to students with financial need who demonstrate the potential for outstanding academic achievement. In 2011, Parents' Association renamed it The Joseph A. Merluzzi Endowed Scholarship to honor the retiring headmaster for his many years of service. Since its inception, the endowment has enabled 10 students to pursue an education at Berkeley.
Berkeley Preparatory School
Founded in 1960, Berkeley is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory day school located in Tampa, FL, for boys and girls in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12. Approximately 1,400 students gather here from the greater Tampa Bay area to form ONE Berkeley.
